Are You Drinking Enough Water? Ten New Ways to Drink Water

(Livingston, NJ) – May 28, 2010 – Now that the warm weather has arrived, it is even more important to make sure you are consuming enough liquids each day… Are you drinking enough fluids each day?

In general, your body needs at least 64 ounces of fluids-- that’s roughly 8 glasses a day.    Even though some of your daily needs can come from food and drinks other than water, water is considered the best source.

Start today by finding new ways to drink water, here are some suggestions:

1)   Try topping a glass of water with a lemon.
2)   Brew a cup of herbal tea
3)   Drop in some fresh cumber slices
4)   Add cut up pineapple chunks
5)   Float some fresh or frozen blueberries
6)   Squeeze in some orange juice
7)   Try carbonated water
8)   Slash in some cranberry juice
9)   Add calorie-free raspberry syrup to crushed ice
10)   Freeze your favorite sugar-free flavored water into popsicles
